Annual Super Gottesdienst Winkel in Ft. Wayne Monday Jan 19, 2026

Gottesdienst is again hosting a Super Winkel on the Monday before the Symposia begins at CTS on January 19, 2026 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Ft. Wayne. If you would like to attend, just show up. There is no registration. We will also hold a Gottesdienst reception on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Redeemer.

As part of the Winkel on Monday we will provide dinner through a Thrivent grant. It will begin at 5:00pm. We need registration for that. So please let us know by 1:00 on Monday either in person or by calling the Church office (260-744-2585) and leaving a message if you won’t be here by then.

The Gottesdienst reception on Wednesday will again be sponsored by a Thrivent grant providing snacks and by LCEF providing libations. More information on that will be coming.

9:30 am Exegetical Study on Lent 1-4 moderated by Fr. Burnell Eckardt

12:00 Lunch on your own

1:30 pm Casuistry including concerns and perhaps overtures for the upcoming synodical convention. We might also consider strategies and Biblical counsel for building unity.

2:30 pm Insights and Surprises found in the Unity of the 16th and 17th Century Lectionaries or Why the Lutheran Missal Project is Amazing! By Fr. Evan Scamman.

4:00 pm Vespers

4:30 - 9:00 pm Gemütlichkeit - Dinner provided by Thrivent grant, Beer on draft for donation, BYOB if desired
