Oktoberfest Gottesdienst
Each year our congregation in Cullman joins with the city to help kick off our annual Oktoberfest celebration with a Divine Service in German. This year the service fell on St. Michael and All Angels day. As we celebrate, even though many of the participants cannot understand the language (translations are provided), the ones gathered are pleased that they can follow along because the liturgy is the same. It is a great witness to the unchanging nature of the Church and that God remains with His people in the same way as He always has.
