A Faithful Confessor

The Rev. Dr. Juhana Pohjola (ThD), Dean of the Evangelical Lutheran Mission Diocese of Finland and recipient of the 2009 Sabre of Boldness has been summoned to appear before the Helsinki Police Department for being “suspected of being guilty of incitement to hatred against a group”. That “group” would be the protected class of LGBTQ personages in Finland. You can read all the details here. The Mission Diocese is a member with the LCMS of the International Lutheran Council.

May our Lord give Pastor Pohjola strength to confess the truth and may the Christians of Finland speak the truth of God’s Word and rise up to defend this faithful pastor.
