I would like to thank the Rev. Dr. David S. Luecke for providing a stark contrast between his Church Growth Movement (CGM) approach to liturgy and sacraments vs. what Gottesdienst has been not only advocating, but putting into practice for going on thirty years.

The above Chesterton quote is fitting to describe the ongoing work and ministry of the newly consecrated Finnish Lutheran Bishop Juhana Pohjola.

In 1961, the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) broke fellowship with the LCMS. They understood that there are impediments to church fellowship between our synods.
