Since 2008, a debate has raged within the LCMS about antinomianism. This is not the same kind of antinomianism addressed in the Formula of Concord, but it is like it. In this episode, Mark Surburg distinguishes between the “soft antinomianism” we see today, and that of the first and second antinomian controversies in the 16th Century.
